Bizportal Introduction?
Small business owners have had trouble getting their businesses registered and getting other services for their businesses. With help from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), BizPortal has been able to offer services to small business owners that haven’t been easy to find before.
Small business owners had a hard time following the rules of the company. Small businesses never found it easy to sign up for UIF, compensation funds, and other similar things. Today, you can sign up for UIF or the compensation fund all at once. Thanks to platforms like BizPortal, it’s easy to sign up for a business and follow the law.
BizPortal not only gives business owners an alternative way to meet regulations, but it also helps them do well. The government has done some smart things to help small businesses get the tools they need to do well. One of these is the business support function.
What Is Bizportal Login?
BizPortal is a website made by the Company and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) to offer company registration and related services in a paperless, easy-to-use digital way. It was made because people wanted to make it easier to do business in South Africa, especially to start a business.
If you are already a registered CIPC customer, you can use your 13-digit South African ID number and your CIPC password to log in.
If you have never used CIPC services before, you should sign up with your ID number.
Please keep in mind that you or your spouse may be asked questions about your ID or theirs to make sure you are who you say you are. According to the Marriage Act, the person who is legally married is the “marital partner.”
Customers who want to log in but don’t have a South African ID number can now use their CIPC customer code. If you want to use a customer code instead of an ID number, click “NO” on the question below the login form. You can sign up for a CIPC customer code at https://eservices.cipc.co.za/ if you don’t already have one.

Bizportal Company Registration
You can register a business with or without a business name. When a company is registered without a name, its registration number becomes the company name. A company like this can do business with a trading name or apply to add a reserved name later.
It costs R125 to register a private company or a non-profit company without members that does not have any members. A private company needs at least one (1) director, while a non-profit organisation needs at least three (3) directors. With a successful company registration, a tax registration number is given out automatically.
