Announcement Lenovo ThinkPad X200s and X200 Tablet
Popular family of Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks recently added two interesting innovations. Model X200s (a light and compact version ThinkPad X200) is the easiest of all the representatives of line ThinkPad, and X200 Tablet is a compact Tablet notebook with an improved display.
X200s weighs 1.12 kg of all, and to avoid too high temperature in a small volume Corps of Engineers equipped laptop latest energy-efficient low CPU Intel Core 2 Duo SL9400 (1,86 GHz), Core 2 Duo SL9300 (1,4 GHz) and Core 2 Duo SU9300 (1,2 GHz). There are two modifications: with traditional backlit display with CCFL (cold cathode lamps) and resolution WXGA, as well as the screen with LED backlighting and the resolution of WXGA. In addition, users are invited to choose the hard disk capacity of up to 200 GB and spindle speed is 7200 rpm or SSD-drive capacity of up to 128 GB. Encouraging a wide range of batteries: 9-segment, which provides up to 12.5 hours of work offline, 6-digit - up to 8.3 hours, 4-digit - up to 4.2 hours.
Tablet model X200 Tablet may include one of three 12.1-inch displays: with CCFL backlight and entering with a digital pen, LED backlighting and entering with a digital pen, as well as LED lights, and the possibility of entering through your fingers. It is noteworthy that displays undergone several improvements compared to predecessors. Thus, the maximum range of the pen increased from 7 to 12 mm, brightness of the display increased to 285 nit, also reduced reflexivity (reflecting ability).
Internal filling X200 Tablet is the same as the model X200s, but it completed only 4 - and 8-digit batteries. 8-segment battery provides up to 10.3 hour work offline.
All new items will be delivered to the market on 10 October. Prices have not yet been communicated to the manufacturer.
