High-speed LCD controller for phones from Sharp
The company Sharp announced the launch mass production of new controllers LCD panels LR388D8, who possess high-speed serial interface MDDI (mobile display digital interface). New products developed for use in mobile phones and allow synchronous display images on internal and external displays.
LCD controller LR388D8 MDDI conform to the standard and provides maximum speed of data transmission between the LCD-panel and MSM chip in 400 Mbps. With the help LR388D8 videos can be viewed on the internal screen phone and simultaneously admire the photographs displayed on the external screen.
Deliveries of the new phones will begin producing chips in October, and their price is 15 euros.
